Just north of New York City, the Hudson Valley offers a rich landscape of natural beauty, deep historical roots, and vibrant culture—yet access to world-class classical music remains limited, especially in comparison with East Coast cities. Hudson Baroque was founded to meet that need. Drawing on the region’s artistic spirit and the proximity of extraordinary performers, our mission is to bring historically informed, engaging performances to local audiences. By offering free concerts and educational events, we aim to make great music accessible to all—celebrating its power to connect, inspire, and heal.

Our instrumentalists represent the top tier of musicianship—players from Il Pomo d’Oro, Les Talens Lyriques, Holland Baroque, The English Concert, Pygmalion, Jupiter, Ruckus, Theotokos, and Les Arts Florissants, etc., graduates of the Juilliard415 program, and TECA fellows. Our singers are some of the finest vocalists on the early music scene, with current or former affiliations with The Clarion Choir, Trinity Church, Wall Street and St. Thomas, Fifth Avenue, and others. Hudson Baroque is where passion, virtuosity, and historically informed performance practice foster a culture of excellence, and goodwill.

Hudson Baroque is fiscally sponsored by Silentwoods Collective, a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to bring live music experiences to communities to inspire creativity, hope and human connection.
